The oscillator strength f(0, 0) for the D 2Sigma-minus - X 2Pi transition in OH has been calculated by use of the multiconfiguration Hartree-Fock program of Das and Wahl. Length and velocity results are 0.00356 and 0.00369, respectively. These oscillator strengths bring the OH abundance results as determined by the Copernicus satellite into better agreement with the lowest limit measured by Knapp and Kerr for the general interstellar medium.
