The oscillatory behavior of the solar atmosphere was investigated using a time series of intensity and velocity fluctuations measured simultaneously in chromospheric lines with the Vacuum Tower Telescope and a time series of Ca II 8542 measured with the Gregory Coude Telescope at Observatorio del Teide. Emphasis is placed on the propagation characteristics of waves in the quiet chromosphere, power spectra of I and V fluctuations as well as I-I, I-V, and V-V phase spectra. Wave propagation in the solar atmosphere in the region on the sun where the oscillations occur, i.e. the cell interior and bright boundaries, is discussed.
