The problems in galaxy formation theory associated with plasma astrophysics and plasma theory were related to a theory of origin for the large-scale structure of the universe. Gravitational stability of an expanding relativistic plasma and the evolution of relic neutrino perturbations were considered. The gravitational forces of neutrino perturbations influence the growth of density perturbations in a photon plasma. The nonlinear stage in the kinetic evolution of inhomogeneities due to free gravitating particles in an expanding gravitational medium was numerically simulated. Results for a one dimensional and for a two dimensional gravitational instability are presented. A cosmology of primordial sound waves is hypothesized.
