Halley'S Comet, Interplanetary Dust, Mass Spectroscopy, Organic Compounds, Interstellar Matter, Metal Particles, Particle Collisions, Particle Production

Measurements with the PUMA dust-impact mass spectrometer indicate that
most of the dust particles of Comet Halley contained organic compounds.
This paper presents arguments in support of the interstellar origin of
these particles.
