We present the science, design and performance of OPTIMOS-DIORAMAS, an
imager and multi-slit spectrograph for the E-ELT. It covers a wide 6.8
× 6.8 arcminute field, a large wavelength range of 0.37 to 1.6
µm, with up to ~ 500 slits observed simultaneously.
