New data on rapid UBVR variability of the nucleus of Seyfert galaxy NGC
3516 are obtained (9/10 May 1989). The amplitudes of brightness
variations are 0.09, 0.05, 0.07, and 0.05 m in U, B, V, and R,
respectively. The brightness variations of the nucleus of the galaxy NGC
4151 did not exceed 0.02 m in the course of the observations (3 h 08 m).
