We present results from optical observations of BL Lac objects that were done during 2000 - 2001 from Skinakas Observatory. Each object was observed typically for ~ 3 days in the U,B,V,R and I bands. Our main aim is to study the optical micro-variability that the sources exhibit. In particular we study the cross-links between the variations at different wavebands in terms of cross-correlation function analysis and the spectral variability of each source. Implications of our results for current theoretical models are also discussed.
