We study optically bright Galactic stars detected as 24u infrared sources observed by the Spitzer Space Telescope (SST) in the Böotes region (14h32m05.712s, +34d16m47.49s center and 3X3 degree field), having 24 micron flux > 1 mJy and R < 17. The classification of the stars is determined using the Digitized First Byurakan Survey (DFBS) low-dispersion spectra. The DFBS is available online and provides digitized spectra for 20,000,000 objects, as well as their positional, photometric and rough classification data. For identification of bright stars and distinguishing from bright galaxies, we used both the DFBS images and their corresponding extracted spectra, and DSS1, DSS2r, DSS2b, DSS2i images for the 589 Böotes sources that meet our selection criteria. Böotes positions were then cross-correlated with USNO-B1.0, MAPS, 2MASS, SDSS, FIRST, NVSS, ROSAT catalogs, and searched in SIMBAD and NED databases for available identifications. The USNO-B1 was used to search for proper motions and B1, R1, B2, R2, and I magnitudes, 2MASS for JHK magnitudes, and SDSS was used to get its “ugriz” magnitudes and redshifts for the spectroscopically observed objects. Finally, MAPS was used to get O and E magnitudes, which together with the USNO magnitudes, give the most reliable photometry for the bright objects, where the SDSS data have large errors. The comparison of the DSS images gave information about the proper motions, variability (DSS1-DSS2), color difference and image extension (DSS2b-DSS2r-DSS2i). Preliminary classification from DSS images revealed 130 bright stars out of 589 sources. The characteristics of these stellar objects identified with the 24u sources are discussed.
