Results are presented from two color (B and V) photometry of 4 BL Lac objects, OI 090.4, OF 038, 0109+22, and PKS 0735+178. The light variation characteristics and color-magnitude correlation of these objects are discussed. The results indicate that short timescale variability in BL Lac objects severely constrains the properties of their central core and their emission mechanism.
