The paper presents computations performed by ONERA on the testcase TC3 since the first Workshop in 2003. Computations have been done with the ONERA computational chain which uses Navier-Stokes CELHyO solver, Radiative Heat Transfer ASTRE solver and PHARAON platform. A Statistical Narrow-Band model describes the radiative properties of the gas mixture. To validate the computational chain, we have first performed computations using an uncoupled approach between CELHyO solver and ASTRE solver. Mandatory testcase TC3-1 has been fully achieved by performing a Radiative Heat Transfer calculation. Influence of the wall catalycity has been assessed by realizing a computation with a pseudo-catalytic wall condition. Lastly, a weakly coupled calculation has also been realized on testcase TC3-1. Key words: Gas radiation; Martian atmosphere; Navier-Stokes computations; Radiative heat transfer; Statistical Narrow-band model.
