The annihilation line formation in gamma-ray bursts is investigated, based on the assumption of positron production in a strong magnetic field. The formation of a two-quantum annihilation line is discussed. It is shown that the relative luminosity depends solely on the hardness of the continuum if the magnetic field is greater than 3 x 10 to the 12th G and that it is, as a rule, less than or about 10-20 percent of the total flux. The results are found to be consistent with the spectral data recorded by Venera-11 and Venera-12 space probes. The mean energy of absorbed photons is calculated, the cooling of produced positrons is considered, and the typical dimensions of the annihilation region as well as the particle density are estimated.
