A formula used to determine the upper cut-off Rc of the fractal structure of the universe is given by the analysis of different apparent magnitude limited catalogues. Using the data of the Zwicky, Lick and Jagellonian catalogues, the upper cut-off Rc can be estimated to be at least 60 - 70 Mpc. The value of Rc increases with decrease of the ratio of the self-similar distribution component to the random distribution component and it may extend to 270 Mpc.
