High-quality K Ca II spectroheliograms of the quiet sun have been statistically analyzed in order to determine the geometric characteristics and size of supergranulation (SG) cells. Two-dimensional power spectra were obtained along both polar and equatorial directions. The results show an absence of polar/equatorial anisotropy, and provide no evidence of convective cell flattening due to the differential rotation of the sun. The amplitude of the spectra near the maximum is elevated in the equatorial direction. The average size of the SG cells is found to be 29.3 Mm.
