A procedure for estimating completeness of radio-astronomy survey based
on probability definitions is proposed. Some possibilities for
estimating completeness of catalogs are discussed. Main formulas for
calculating various completeness types and results of survey simulation
with deduction of dependences of completeness on flux density are given.
