Changes in electric field strength and frequency of radio signals during the occultation measurements of the Venus atmosphere by Venera 9 and 10 are examined. The inverse problem of deriving the refraction coefficient from data on field strength and frequency is treated, and vertical profiles of density, temperature, pressure and electron density in the Venus atmosphere are obtained.
