Consideration is given to free jets in a radiation-dominant state from the purely thermal aspect, where the radiation field is established around the outlet of an optically thick accretion disk. The difference points from gaseous jets are the nonadiabatic effect of radiative diffusion and the lateral boundary condition. Nonadiabaticity in the energy process affects the expansion rate of free jets. In the radiative diffusion case, the upwelling radiative heat flux and the sideward one are balancing with each other to keep the jet thin. Characteristically, a thin dense jet has a tenuous mantle.
