The problem of noncoherent isotropic scattering radiation in one-dimensional approximation in a semi-infinite medium and in a layer of finite thickness is effectively solved. Results of numerical calculations in the fourth and eighth approximations for the case of Doppler line broadening are given. Results of certain numerical calculations performed by two different methods are compared.
