Time Determination: Error Analysis
Scientific paper
The methods for time measurements and time comparison with GPS are described. The precision for observing one GPS satellite of block I with only one GPS receiver at a station could reach ±10 ns, while that for observing one GPS satellite of block II could reach ±40 ns. It is suggested to use the "synthesized GPS time" resulted from all received tracks of GPS satellites.
