The study reports the line positions, transition probabilities, and oscillator strengths for delta v = 1, 2, 3, and 4 rotation-vibration bands and the emission cross-sections and Einstein coefficients of the computed microwave frequencies of the NO(+) which can be used for the detection of NO(+) in interstellar space. The various possibilities of formation and destruction of the NO(+) ion in interstellar clouds in terms of binary gas phase reactions are discussed.
