Some of the processes which occur on the Sun and which could be the cause of radiating gravitational waves are studied. The emission of gravitational radiation from a solar proton flare with relativistic ejection of particles is considered, as well as the generation of gravitational waves, excited by the flare, from the Sun as a whole. For the latter, the irradiation of gravitational radiation in the course of propagation of shock waves through the solar plasma, due to a large solar flare or to quadrupole oscillations of the solar body, is examined.
