The motion of comets resulting in their collisions with the Moon is considered within the framework of the problem of two motionless centers. The possibility of the impacts of comets and their fragments both on the near and far sides of the Moon is shown, among others, at very small angles to the surface. These conclusions are supported by the discovery of extended diffuse structures at the lunar surface interpreted as traces of such collisions.
