Solar Radio Radiation: Intensities, Solar Spectrum: Lyman Alpha

Scientific paper

A comparison of daily intensities of the solar Lα-emission and solar radio flux at the wavelength 10.7 cm (F10.τ) for the period January 1982 - June 1988 has been made. It is shown that the lag of 27-day maxima of Lα-emission relative to those of F10.τ is equal to 24 hours on the average and can be explained as due to a different velocity of the decrease of the active region of intensity at different intervals of the solar spectrum.
