Experimental evidence of the isotropy of the cosmic radiation of energy above 1013 ev is given. The interpretation of this result leads one to infer that the more energetic particles of the cosmic radiation are not of solar origin, but come from the whole galaxy. On the other hand, a local origin seems necessary for the particles of moderate energy (109-1010 ev).
