Stars: Individual: 21 Com - Stars: Oscillations - Δ Scuti
Scientific paper
A spectral analysis of high-speed photometric observations of the peculiar A-type star 21 Com, carried out in 1987 and 1988, is presented with the aim of contributing to the resolution of some controversial questions regarding its variability. Our study leads to the conclusion that 21 Com is not a rapidly pulsating Ap star, and suggests a possible δ Scuti-type variability.
