We report on progress in analysis of the Chandra 1 Ms (VLP) observation of Cas A performed in April-May 2004. We focus initial efforts on the jet regions, attempting to establish that these morphological features in are indeed due to jets associated with the explosion (as opposed to cavities in the circumstellar medium). We also hope to discuss possibilities for inferring energetics and other basic properties of the jets.
