Neutron Stars: Magnetic Fields
Scientific paper
It was shown that a magnetic field is a catalyst for neutrino radiative
decay. In this note, an astrophysical consequence of this magnetic
catalysis effect is discussed in the context of the conversion of a
neutron star with a strong interior magnetic field into a strange star.
