Radial velocities are reported for the bright nondegenerate members of 12 common proper-motion binaries containing a white dwarf. Combining these with data already published, the kinematics of 24 systems can be studied. This sample appears to be a mixture of high- and low-velocity objects relative to the sun, and some have UVW motions that make them appear to be kinematically young, although some of these pairs can be eliminated after consideration of their cooling times. The additional spectroscopic clues of emission lines and peculiar spectral types suggest youth and strengthen the conclusion that the white dwarf components of some of these low-velocity pairs evolved from parent stars that belong to a young stellar population.
