The isotopic composition of Ru in the Allende and Leoville chondrites was determined, measuring isotopic abundance ratios in an acid-resistant residue of the Allende meteorite and in one magnetic and three nonmagnetic portions of type-B inclusions, two from Allende and one from Leoville. Normalized to Ru-96/Ru-101, all Ru-98/Ru-101 and Ru-99/Ru-101 were found to be very similar to the terrestrial values. The Ru-100/Ru-101 and Ru-104/Ru-101 ratios deviated from the terrrestrial norm by more than 2 sigma in one and two cases, respectively. The Ru-102/Ru-101 ratio was normal in two aliquants of the acid-resistant Allende residue but was higher than normal in all four inclusion samples. Normalization to Ru-104/Ru-101, rather than to Ru-96/Ru-101, resulted in overabundances of the light p-process isotopes Ru-96 and Ru-98 in the nonmagnetic portions of all three inclusions.
