The paper discusses the Poincare-type methods for obtaining the maximal
solution of differential equations and the Wang (1991) global solution
of the N-body problem. It is shown that the Wang solution has been
obtained earlier by Babadzanjanz (1979), following more general results
on differential equations (Babadzanjanz, 1978).
