Greenberg's theory of space-like congruences (1970) is employed to derive relations governing the general behavior of relativistic electromagnetic fluid flows. Kinematic parameters associated with the congruence of space-like curves are used to construct 'magnetic' and 'electric' vorticity vectors for the relativistic MHD equations. Several theorems concerning the behavior of such flows are presented.
