We revisit the idea that the Galactic center is the dominant source of Galactic cosmic rays, based on a series of new observational evidence. Possible evidence supporting such an idea include: the sharp knee of the cosmic ray spectrum around PeV energies, the giant $\gamma$-ray bubbles revealed by Fermi data, the microwave haze observed by WMAP, and the 511 keV line emission discovered by INTEGRAL.
