A model of chemical evolution for the Large Magellanic Cloud taking into account an episodic star formation and galactic winds has been considered with special attention to the evolution of oxygen and iron abundances. It has been found that the high iron to oxygen abundance ratio observed in the Large Magellanic Cloud can be reproduced only by the model with enriched galactic wind. The characteristic feature of the evolutionary tracks of the Large Magellanic Cloud in the [Fe/O] versus [Fe/H] diagram computed with observed episodic star formation is the plateau caused by the second episode of active star formation. The metallicity range of the plateau is affected both by the ordinary and by the enriched galactic winds, the iron to oxygen abundance ratio corresponding to the plateau is defined only by the efficiency of the enriched galactic wind.
