Stellar Flares:Distribution Functions

A possibility of generalization of the method suggested by Ambartsumyan (1978) for the determination of the star distribution function depending on mean flare frequency is discussed. Formulae are given for using the information of chronology of high-order flares for this purpose. To estimate the accuracy of the proposed method a numerical experiment has been realized, in the process of which an ensemble of flare stars has been modelled with known frequency distribution. The results of the mentioned experiments and following treatments are shown on diagrams.
