Taking the two Savage-Bolton 5 deg x 5 deg regions of optical quasar
patrol as samples, a systematic analysis of the number of aligned
quasars was made and compared with the random data generated by Monte
Carlo method. The statistical result is that, at least for these two
samples, there is no clear evidence for alignment.
