This investigation proposes a method of computing some signature of the local geoidal height from the local gravity anomaly; the present approach introduces a kernel in place of the Stokes' function to conveniently restrict the integration of the gravity anomaly only over a local area of the sphere, while the resulting integral is equal to some integral transform of the local geoidal height.
