Results are reported from a search for periodic fluctuations in solar radio emission in the dm band (755 MHz). Data obtained at Riga Radioastrophysical Observatory and at Tremsdorf Solar Radio Observatory (separated by about 850 km) during a 15-day period in October-November 1987 are presented in graphs and briefly characterized on the basis of a maximum-entropy analysis. Although most of the dm fluctuations seem to be of nonsolar origin, as reported by Benz and Fuerst (1987) for 4.75 GHz, some discrete signals with the same periods (in the range 3-200 sec) were found at the two stations. The potential value of further coordinated observations using widely separated telescopes is indicated.
