On the basis of photon-photon interaction Pecker et al. have tried to explain the quasar redshift as being non-cosmological. It has been shown that in their analysis the width of emission lines will be so large that the quasar spectrum will become featureless. Thus their interpretation of non- cosmological redshift of quasars is not acceptable.
