The angular resolution of the best modern gamma-ray telescopes (2-4 deg) lags behind the problems presently being solved by gamma-ray astronomy. The reasons limiting the angular accuracy of gamma-ray telescopes are discussed and ways of increasing it are suggested. The methods of an active collimator, an oriented target, and a telescope with a coded aperture, which permit the attainment of an angular resolution of 1-10 arcmin in a detector with an area of 1 sq m, are discussed.
