It is suggested that the extremely fine collimation of fluid that is ejected from some radio galaxies (change of angle of about 0.01) results from 'overcollimation', the bending of the flow lines toward the flow axis. The energy in transverse motion may then be dissipated on impact at the axis. A model is presented in which the ambient pressure of a surrounding cloud channels the flow toward the axis. Under simplifying assumptions, analytic solutions are obtainable for the shape of the channel.
