Hα line asymmetry is an important characteristics in spectral observations of chromospheric flare, since it reflects directly the dynamic process of solar flare. Analyzing data observed with the solar spectrograph of PMO, in this paper we extracted several Hα line profiles with typical asymmetries. In order to reproduce the observed line profile, we first empirically studied the influence of the Hα line profile on the flux and power-law spectral index of non-thermal electrons, the positions of chromospheric condensation, and the base model atmosphere. Then we tried to construct semi-empirical models. The results show that with a different combination of parameters, a variety of Hα line asymmetries can be produced. The relationship of the line asymmetry with the parameters adopted are summarized. Three semi-empirical models were constructed, which presents good reproduction of the observed Hα line profiles.
