Scientific paper

We show that a classical uniformly distributed phenomenon for an element and
its inverse in (Z/nZ)^{*} also exists in GL_{n}(F_{p}) and SL_{n}(F_{p}). A
GL_{n}(F_{p}) analog of the uniform distribution on modular hyperbolas has also
been considered.
