We suggest the possibility of a broader circumstellar habitable zone than considered so far. The factors taken into account - in addition to greenhouse effect - are tidal heating, and the role of ammonia as a possible solvent instead of water for biogenic materials. These factors can push the outer limit of the circumstellar habitable zones even farther from their central stars.
