The Radio Astronomy Service accepts that in certain circumstances 2% of
all 2000 second integrations may be lost due to interference. This paper
explores the simulation conditions required for a Monte-Carlo method to
answer the question of whether more than 2% of integrations will suffer
unacceptable interference.
