OH observations of a large and representative sample of oxygen-rich Mira stars are presented, and the OH luminosity function is deduced from these data. The 1667 MHz and 1665 MHz main lines and the 1612 MHz satellite line are analyzed, and the differences between these three masers are discussed. A comparison is made with OH/IR objects, which emphasizes the period-velocity relation and the dependency between the OH and the far infrared emissions. It is shown that in Miras, the pumping of main lines is likely due to the overlap of far IR lines.
