A total of 23 meteor streams and associations have been identified in a set of 10,224 telescopic and visual meteors. In addition to determining a number of brightness intervals for these streams and associations, the position of the radiant and the values of the mass coefficient s have been found. After the method of obtaining s from optical observations has been described, and its accuracy discussed, an attempt is made to derive further general rules relating s to the character of the stream trajectory and its age, from the present and from previously published data. High values of s are noted for streams with short orbital periods, and a discussion of the decrease of s in faint meteors shows that the relation between s and the age of the meteor streams is not yet established.
