As Neptune moves from the Galactic plane in the 1990s, fewer of the stars required for occultation studies able to shed light on its rings will be available. The Klemola and Mink (1991) search has been extended to the limits of the plates, where V magnitude is about 15.5, to yield additional possible occultations; these encompass 68 stars for the 1992-1999 period. Some of the stars have K magnitudes greater than 11.
