The western part of the Cygnus Loop supernova remnant has been observed with the Cambridge One-Mile telescope at 408 MHz with a resolution of 80×160 arcsec2 (RA×Dec). These observations reveal the radio emission from the remnant in great detail, including a remarkable radio filament that stretches over much of the length of the remnant. The nature of this feature, and others, are discussed in terms of the interaction of the remnant with differing regions of the interstellar medium.
