Results of solar position measurements undertaken in 1979 with the astrolabe at the CERGA observatory are presented. Observations with the equilateral prism were paired with prism angle measurements so as to allow the determination of the absolute right ascension, and the use of reflector prisms made possible observations at zenith distances of 45 and 60 deg, covering a period of about 9 months. Results of observations were corrected with respect to latitude and longitude variations derived from observations of groups of stars made at the CERGA observatory. The data, when combined with previous observations, have been used to determine corrections to the orbital elements of the earth.
