Interferometric observations are presented of the arcsec-scale structure in 57 3CR sources at 0.96 GHz and the results compared with aperture synthesis measurements of comparable resolution at 5 GHz. Compact heads in the outer components of sources are found to have flatter spectral indices than more extended regions of emission, and both the heads and compact components as a whole can be appreciably misaligned with the main source axis.
