The results of low-frequency (λ49-cm) radio synthesis
observations of two fields containing Type I OH masers with associated
ultracompact H II regions are presented. No evidence is found for either
small-scale or extended thermal emission in the neighbourhood of ON 1.
By contrast, extensive thermal continuum structure surrounds ON 2.
